Take charge of challenging traffic projects and make cities smarter!

As a Traffic Engineer, you work independently on mobility projects that make a real difference. You analyze traffic flows, design and program traffic control installations and test your solutions in practice. You advise clients and translate complex traffic problems into smart, feasible solutions.

You use tools such as VISSIM and OTTO to simulate and optimize traffic situations. You manage smaller teams and supervise junior colleagues. You also identify improvement opportunities and actively contribute to innovative traffic solutions.

What do we offer you?

• Salary! With us, you can count on a salary fitting in scale 7 in accordance with the CAO metaal & techniek, €3.500,- and €4.500,- based on 40 hours (depending on education and experience);

Who Are you? You…

• Live in or around the Amersfoort area;
• Speak fluent English and learning or willing to learn Dutch;
• Have at least 5 years' experience in traffic engineering or a similar role;
• Have knowledge of simulation and traffic control software such as VISSIM, OTTO and COCON;
• Have a completed college or university degree in traffic engineering, civil engineering or a related field;
• Have strong communication skills and a solution-oriented attitude;
• Are eligible to work in The Netherlands.
