As a Cloud Operations Engineer at SWARCO Peek Traffic, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting complex technical issues in the operation of our cloud solutions. You will be responsible for meeting customer expectations according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) and acting as a consultant to our valued customers. Additionally, you will collaborate with a talented team to manage projects involving challenging technical implementations of software solutions.

Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing software and infrastructure configurations, analyzing software platforms an database systems, and providing cutting-edge solutions for technical problems following ITIL best practices.

Your responsibilities are?

• Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA);
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems in the operation of our cloud solutions;
• Optimize software and infrastructure configurations to enhance performance;
• Analyze software platforms and database systems to identify and resolve technical issues;
• Provide state-of-the-art solutions based on ITIL best practices;
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Of course we offer you:

• A gross salary up to € 5700,00 based on 40 hours per week (depending on knowledge and work experience) + 8% vacation pay (CAO for Metal & Technology);
• 25 vacation days + 13 additional days off, so a total of 38 days to recharge;
• A 1 year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;

What background you need?
For this position, we’d like you to bring these educational and personal skills:

• Bachelor/Master Degree (business) informatics, completed training or comparable qualifications;
• Very good knowledge of the operating systems Windows, Linux as well as web servers, databases, network and communication protocols;
• Knowledge of Kubernetes;
• Experience in Cloud- or Managed Services and know-how in ITIL is a plus;
• Knowledge of Docker and databases is of advantage;
• Excellent English skills (written and spoken), Dutch is a plus;
• You are available for 32 – 40 hours per week.
